This blog isabout the journey and the heros events from book 1 and 2 from the odyssey. Telemachus is a hero and is a determined one at that. His father left and many think that he is dead but he is determined to find out. His mom is unfortunate in that suitors are determined to make them their wife. They stay their until telamachus gets back and they make a mess of peneolpes house and she will weave a ship and once it is done she will choose someone as a husband. If Odysseius comes back though in time it will not happen. So teleamchus has to fit out a ship and get as many mkembers to come with him on his journey to find his dad. Teleamchus is a hero because he is called to an adventure.Teleamchus"Fit out a ship with twenty oars, the best in sight, sail in a quest of news of his long lost father. He is called to adventure to find his father and bring him back to Ithaca  and declare himself king again. Also,based on the elements of the heroes journey and events of books 1 and 2, teleamchus is a hero because he has a supernatural guide in Athena. She is first seen by telamachus is lines 132-133, First by far to see her was prince telamachus,sitting among the suitors,heart obsessed with grief. Telemachus was very upset that the suitors were fighting over peneolpe.
