 He grew up without a father and his mom was an alcholic. This caused colton to live through a troubled childhood. He had examples of hero partners which were his fans also he had a specific friend who helped him along his way. He had tests and ordeals which he had to overcome. Like he had to stealthly steal a plane and get away with it. An ultimate boon that Colton had was his brilliance. He was smart enough to steal a plane at age 17. Also he was smart enough to do online classes under fake names to know how to fly a plane. A belly of the whale Colton had was when he was in the cockpit about to steal the plane. He knew once he stole that plane he couldnt go back and change anything that occured. When Colton crashes the plane that is like a journey to the underworld becuase his mission had failed. After his first plane crash landed Colton needed an aptheosis/defication which he decided would be to steal more planes. Colton ended up stealing two planes after that. When Colton was caught in the Bahamas his final battle was his boat chase with the police. Then an elixir served as his jail time. Colton became a master of two worlds by learning how to get by in the real world with nobody helping him and then learning how to survive in jail. And that is the heros quest of Colton the barefoot bandit.

Bob Marley

Bob Marley was more than a musician in his time. He was an uplifter of the jamiacan community. Which is a call to adventure because he felt as if he had to lift africans up from slavery and he thought he would do that through music. He later then started to produce songs. That is a supernatural guide because he was the first person to really guide Marleys music because he was the first one to really hear his music and critic it. Jobs were scarce in jamaica so bob left and followed his mother into the city to seek employment. That is a test/ ordeals or a challenge that the hero goes through. In 1994 Bob marley was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame which serves as freedom to live because without him being inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame its like all his work was for nothing. Months before marley died he was trying to stop the spread of melanoma thru his body. Thats how bob marley was my hero because he revolutionized the world as we live in today not just the musical world but he changed the way people think.

Weston Romens Luke vs Doug

Luke Skywalker and Doug are similar and different in their own ways. In this paper you will see how they compare and contrast to each other. In each one of the stories they both go through challenges. In both stories they overcome the challenges that they face. One challenge in Star Wars for luke is he has to go on a mission or a quest. With the refusal to the call Luke does not want to go on the mission. He says that he has to stay with his father and work for him. It is a challenge for Luke to go on the mission because he first does not want to go and he also says he needs to work for his dad. Doug also has a challenge he goes through when Quinn comes to his house and wants Doug to go on the road with him. Doug says that he needs to study. That is a refusal to the call similar to Star Wars. Doug and Luke both end up going on their so called missions or their quest. Another challenge that Luke goes through is when he has to blow up the Death Star. Luke has to blow up the Death Star to complete his quest. He completes this mission by shooting into the only place that can blow up the death star. He does it and then he is able to go home. He does the only thing that he has to do to get back home. Similar to Luke is what Doug has to do in convincing Quinn not to kill himself. Doug has to overcome a difficult situation similar to Luke. Doug has to convince his friend to not kill himself. In the story Doug explains to Quinn why he should not kill himself and gives him reasons not to. He says its about all of the little reasons in life to stay alive. This is similar to Luke because after they both have done what they had to in their mission in the end of all of it they get to go home. A difference about these two stories is what their fighting for or why they are going out on their missions. Luke embarked on his mission in his intent to become a jedi and follow in his fathers steps. Obi one convinces him to go on his mission because his father was a jedi and he wants to follow in his fathers steps. He became a jedi to complete his mission save princess leya and blow up the death star. Doug stays in vegas because he realizes that his friend is going to kill himself and he is the only one that can save him. He knows that once he sticks with his friend he almost has to help him. When Doug goes in the bathroom to check on Quinn to make sure he is not killing himself. This shows that he helps him during his mission. Luke and Doug's stories are similar and different in many different ways. They both have stages to make a story a hero story.
